South African artist Jane Eppel lives and works in Cape Town. A former painter, since April 2010 Jane has been exploring the medium of copperplate etching. Her love of plants and insects began at an early age and serves as both her inspiration and subject matter for her current prints.

Jane is currently participating in 'Nature of the Earth:botanical conversations from above and below' at Amaridian Gallery in New York, alongside her husband, (sculptor Nic Bladen) and ceramic artists Katherine Glenday and Astrid Dahl.
